It's a calling

Have you ever heard people talk about feeling LED or CALLED to do something? When I think of these terms what mainly pops into my mind is a missionary. Many missionaries have been called, by God, overseas, to serve in that 3rd world country, spreading the gospel, and being both the hands and feet of Jesus, but being led or called doesn't have to mean missions. In fact, it could mean something as simple as smiling at someone or sending them an encouraging text. Ephesians 2:10 says, "God has made us what we are. He has created us in Christ Jesus to live lives filled with good works that he has prepared for us to do." Our first calling in life is to FIND Jesus and the second is to FOLLOW him. Just like this verse says we have been CHOSEN or PREDESTINED to work for the good of Gods kingdom. Before the world was even created. Start asking God every day to help you feel the call of the day. Take action. Don't be afraid of what the world thinks, because you are a CHILD of GOD who has been chosen to serve for his majesty's, your fathers, kingdom.

Dear Lord,

Help me to be the servant I have been called to be. Thank you for setting an excellent example of a leader.
